Lost Lake Arrowhead / Spear Point, Edward's Chert ArrowheadThis is a modern Lost Lake arrowhead that was knapped by yours truly on video. This Lost Lake is made of heat treated Edward's Plateau chert. Edward's Plateau is a Texas chert wildly used by prehistoric people. This is the first point of a series of Lost lakes ill be making in my quest for the perfect Lost lake It measures 3 3 4" in length

This is some really nice easy chipping rock that I really enjoy knapping

There is several videos on my YouTube channel Danny Collins Lithics & Leather showing knapping these point specific preforms

I think Fancy Jasper is one of the prettiest knapping materials we have to flintknapp

This also allows the flaker to follow through without making contact with the rubber
